Americas
America, the land of the free, is one of the most exciting holiday destinations in the world. It’s not just a country, but a whole continent from sea to shining sea, encompassing mountains, beaches, desert, forests, buzzing cities and unspoilt wilderness. Here is my pick of some of the best holidays in the USA.
Many visitors don’t look beyond the big gateway cities of New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Las Vegas, and you’d be forgiven for getting distracted by these beguiling, addictive cities. But of course there’s so much more to see and do. The obvious places to explore include New England and Florida (particularly Orlando), but you might want to look beyond the obvious.
America is home to many of the great cultural icons of the 20th Century – its music, its movies, its architecture and food. Use a music festival such as Jazz Fest in New Orleans as an excuse to plan a visit.
Take a Music & Movies Trail to find the places celebrated in film and song, or visit the settings of classic TV shows on a location tour. You can get your kicks on Route 66 or follow in the footsteps of the Rat Pack in Palm Springs.

Asia
Travel options range widely, from the desert ruins and modern mega-malls of the Middle East to the magnificent ancient monuments in South Asia, and from the beach bungalows and jungle treks of Southeast Asia to the mega-cities and technology capitals of East Asia.
Asia offers very diverse travel options. There are ultra modern, largely democratic countries like Japan and the East Asian Tigers (regions and countries) of Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea which are very prosperous and in which people enjoy very high standards of living. On the other hand, Afghanistan, Laos and East Timor. Of course, there are also many countries lying somewhere in the middle, such as the emerging powerhouses of China and India which make wonderful travel destinations in themselves due to their long history, size and diversity.
Thailand is a travel magnet, with great food, a tropical climate, fascinating culture and great beaches.

Europe
It's time to see the world. Seeing Europe is something that many people dream about but never actually do. Though it may seem intimidating, planning a "Eurotrip" is relatively easy, especially with modern technology and all of the travel guides we have today.
Europe is one of the most common trip destinations for many people and for good reason: the breadth and volume of art, culture, and perhaps most importantly other travelers is second to none. A well preserved cultural heritage, open borders and efficient infrastructure makes visiting Europe a breeze, and rarely will you have to travel more than a few hours before you can immerse yourself in a new culture, and dive into a different phrasebook.
Although it is the world's smallest continent in land surface area, there are profound differences between the cultures and ways of life in its countries.

Thailand is the most popular tourist destination in Southeast Asia, and for a reason. You can find almost anything here: crystal blue beaches, thick jungle, great food, cheap beach front bungalows and some of the best luxury hotels in the world. There is something for every interest and every budget. And despite the heavy flow of tourism, Thailand retains its quintessential identity with its own unique culture and history and a carefree people famed for their smiles.
